Newspaper Rock 10K & 26K
The Newspaper Rock 10K is getting ready to run for the 8th year, and has one of the most scenic courses around! Bring the family and have a great time with a great view!
The Newspaper Rock 10K is adding a 26K this year. We have set the 26K course to start at Foy lake on the Blue Mountains and wind its way down Indian Creek to Newspaper Rock Monument where the 10K course starts. Both courses will end where the 10k course as always ended.
Indian Creek Recreation area in October is full of color. No better place to see the famous red rock of southeast Utah combine with the beautiful fall colors of the Blue Mountains. This combination is breathe taking. Join us this year for an unforgettable year and landscapes. This race is truly a must add to your race calendar this year.

Also make arrangements if you plan on parking at a start line, to be taken back to your vehicle. Please plan ahead on this matter to help reduce the amount of traffic on the course. There is plenty of camping sites throughout Indian Creek. Please see BLM webpages for more info. Canyonlands National park is only an additional 15 miles from Finish line, we encourage all runners to visit the park and see what San Juan County has to offer.
